Márcia Magalhães da Silva

Márcia has a master’s in business administration from FGV EBAPE, an MBA in business analytics and big data from FGV, and Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI). She also has an undergraduate degree in tourism from Fluminense Federal University in Rio de Janeiro State. She is currently a member of the FGV Project Management Office (FGV PMO) team, supporting the management and tracking of FGV’s high-priority projects. She is also the deputy coordinator of the Paraopeba River Project, which is auditing the socioeconomic projects conducted under the Judicial Agreement for Comprehensive Reparation related to the failure of the B-I, B-IV and B-IVA dams at the Córrego do Feijão iron ore mine. She previously worked on the management team for the Doce River Project, which evaluated the socioeconomic impacts of the failure of the Fundão tailings dam, and was involved in the establishment of FGV PMO. She has also worked as a researcher and consultant at FGV’s technical consulting arm, FGV Projetos. She has experience in project management, with an emphasis on developing indicators and managing schedules and stakeholders, as well as research and data analysis.
